COMMERCIAL
PROJECTS
For non-wood
materials (ie Composites) Fire Rating to Class A is required for all
Interior Commercial applications. Solid or Stave constructed
Hardwoods for commercial projects is Rated Class B and is accepted as
long as it is not made from a composite wood materials. For
exterior commercial projects, ratings depend on local fire codes.
RESIDENTIAL
PROJECTS
Fire Rating to
Class A is dependant on local fire codes for interior and exterior
applications and generally is not specified. Each material has
it's own Fire Rating. Many of our products can be created as Class
A.
MATERIALS UPGRADES

Rating added to the chemical mix on production as a specified upgrade
b) ArchPolymerTM
Fire Rating applied with
a Fire Rated Primer to achieve Class A. It is applied in 3 coats 72 hours between coats - for
commercial applications a
certified coating specialist is required to sign off.
